TL;DR: Excellent service and possibly the best quality tailoring you can find in Bangkok.

After doing thorough research online — including through ChatGPT, forums, and reviews — I decided that during my trip to Thailand, I would visit Roberto SuMiSura to have a new suit made. My research pointed me there because I was looking for true craftsmanship: handmade details, proper half- and full-canvas tailoring, and in-house production rather than the mass-produced, fused suits often found along Sukhumvit.

Making an appointment was easy, and they even arranged a Grab taxi to pick up my wife and me. Once we arrived and were greeted by Santa and his brother, we immediately felt welcome and at ease. The warm, relaxed atmosphere and fluent English made communication effortless.

Santa was very transparent about the pros and cons of various options and their cost implications. I ended up ordering a full suit in premium Italian wool and a sport coat in high-quality local fabric — both 100% wool. My wife also decided to have a custom women’s suit made, along with a shirt each for both of us.

Santa went above and beyond — adjusting other production schedules to finish everything in time for us to take home just five days later. The suits weren’t the cheapest in Bangkok, but they were very competitively priced compared to European off-the-rack brands — offering double the quality and a flawless fit.

Overall, the experience was superb from start to finish. I rarely write reviews, but this level of service and craftsmanship truly deserved one.
