USA / CANADA Trunk Show 2025

Everything you need to know before booking your first appointment.

How Long Does It Take?

Turnaround depends on two things: the construction level you choose, and whether your fabric comes from our in-house stock or is ordered from one of our mill partners.

In-house fabrics are available immediately and have no effect on lead time. Mill fabrics — Piacenza, Cerruti, Dormeuil, and others — may add a few days for the cloth to arrive at the atelier before cutting begins.

Trousers Only  ·  3 – 10 Days

Hand basted construction with cotton internals. Fabric availability is the main variable.

Standard Chest Canvas  ·  3 – 10 Days

An ideal entry point — well-structured, lightweight, and built for speed without sacrificing quality.

Half Canvas  ·  14 – 21 Days

Entirely handmade through the chest, lapel, and waist — the benchmark of quality tailoring. The additional time reflects the hours of hand work required.

Full Canvas  ·  21 – 45 Days

The highest level of construction — entirely handmade from chest to hem. Every canvas layer, every finishing detail is worked by hand. This is a garment built to last decades, and the time reflects that.

Visiting Bangkok with limited time? For Half Canvas and Full Canvas orders, we can schedule two fittings during your stay and complete the final garment after you leave — shipping directly to your door once it is ready.

How Does the Process Work?

1

Book a Consultation

All appointments are by booking only — in person at our Bangkok atelier, or at a trunk show near you. We confirm the date, time, and venue.

2

Measurement & Fabric Selection

We take a full set of measurements and guide you through the fabric and construction options. You see and touch the cloths before deciding — nothing is chosen from a screen.

3

Cutting & Making in Bangkok

Your pattern is cut and the garment is built entirely at our Bangkok atelier. The same hands, the same standard — every time.

4

Trial Fitting

The first garment comes to you as a trial. We review the fit together — in person if you are in Bangkok or on our travel circuit, or via video call for remote clients. Every adjustment is noted and applied.

5

Final Delivery

Once fit is confirmed, the full order is completed and delivered — to your door, worldwide. Your pattern and order history are retained permanently for future reorders.

Common Questions

Do I need to visit Bangkok?

No. We run trunk shows regularly across the USA, Canada, India, Singapore, and Australia — and continue to expand the circuit. Remote orders are also possible via our trunk show process: we take measurements in person on a visit, and all subsequent fittings and adjustments can be handled via video call and shipping. See our Trunk Shows page for upcoming dates.

How do Trunk Shows work?

A trunk show is how we bring the full atelier experience to you — wherever you are. Bobby travels to your city with our complete fabric collection and a selection of finished garments you can try on in person. You choose your cloth, we take your measurements, and everything is made back in Bangkok to the same standard as a walk-in appointment.

We currently travel to the USA, Canada, India, Singapore, and Australia on a regular circuit — with more destinations being added. Bobby has been running trunk shows since 1999 and has completed over 70 trips to North America alone.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

Wear a well-fitted shirt — ideally the type of shirt you plan to wear with the suit. This gives us the most accurate measurement and ensures the jacket is cut to sit correctly over your typical clothing. Avoid bulky knitwear or heavily padded layers.

How do I know which canvas construction to choose?

If you are new to bespoke, Chest Canvas is an excellent starting point — well-made, structured, and delivered quickly. Half Canvas is ideal for clients who want a garment that moulds to the body over time and will last many years. Full Canvas is for those who want the finest construction available — a lifelong garment. We are happy to talk you through the differences at consultation. You can also read more on our Craft Details page.

Can I order for a specific event or deadline?

Yes — let us know your date when you book and we will advise on whether the timeline is achievable for your chosen construction. For weddings and major events, we recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for Full Canvas orders.

How do I get a price?

Pricing varies depending on construction, fabric selection, and garment type. Please reach out via the Contact page, WhatsApp, or LINE — we will send you a full price list and answer any questions before your appointment.

What happens if the fit is not right?

We do not consider an order complete until the fit is right. The trial fitting process exists specifically to catch and correct everything before the final garment is delivered. We have never walked away from a fit problem.
